We provision the circuit end-to-end
Once the order is signed, DCConnect coordinates both the A-end and Z-end cross-connects, provisions the Layer-2 transport across the backbone, and delivers a tested, ready-to-use Ethernet handoff at each site. No sub-contractors, no hidden handoffs.
Your team connects, we monitor
Plug your CPE or router into the Ethernet handoff and you’re live. DCConnect’s NOC monitors the circuit end-to-end 24×7, with SLA-based response times for any faults. Monthly performance reports are delivered automatically.
DCConnect IPLC uses our own APAC backbone for the majority of the circuit, supplemented by carefully selected partner network segments where required — all under our single end-to-end SLA.
Protection switching is available on all circuits: primary and diverse paths are pre-provisioned, and failover happens in under 50ms via automatic protection switching (APS). No manual intervention, no service desk tickets.

What’s the difference between IPLC and IEPL?
IPLC (International Private Leased Circuit) is a traditional point-to-point private circuit often associated with TDM/SDH origins. IEPL (International Ethernet Private Line) is the Ethernet-native version. DCConnect’s IPLC product is delivered as an Ethernet UNI — effectively the same as IEPL in modern practice. If your team requests IEPL, this is the right product.
Can I run my own IP addresses / routing over an IPLC?
Yes. The IPLC is a Layer-2 transparent pipe — you can run any L3 protocol over the top, including your own BGP sessions, OSPF, static routing, or MPLS. We don’t inspect or manipulate any traffic above the Ethernet frame.
Is protection switching (APS) included as standard?
1+1 APS with diverse routing is available as an option on all circuits and is recommended for production workloads. It’s not included in base pricing, but can be added at order time. Best-effort (unprotected) circuits are also available at a lower price point for less critical links.
How long does IPLC provisioning take?
Standard provisioning is 15–30 business days depending on the route and endpoint locations. On-net to on-net (within DCConnect’s own facilities) can be completed in 5–10 business days. Expedited provisioning is available for urgent requirements — ask your account manager.
What is the minimum contract term?
IPLC is available on 12-, 24-, and 36-month terms. Longer terms carry better pricing. Short-term or month-to-month circuits are available for specific requirements (e.g., event-based connectivity) at a premium — speak to sales for options.
Can DCConnect deliver IPLC to locations outside its own network?
Yes. Outside our direct footprint, we use carefully vetted carrier partners to extend circuits. These are covered under our single end-to-end SLA — you deal with DCConnect only. Carrier partner details are available on request for compliance and due-diligence purposes.
