How Does It Function?

When a customer places an order for Cloud Connect, the BOSS system initiates a call to the Cloud provider API to generate the service. Subsequently, the customer may be required to log in to the portal to officially accept the service. Upon acceptancethe cloud provider swiftly provisions the connection within minutes. A visual indicator denotes the service status—turning blue upon approval and remaining yellow if not accepted.  While the specific steps for provisioning Cloud Connect may differ based on the chosen cloud provider, the overall process remains consistent across all providers.

The core of the DCConnect Cloud Connect is the DC Gateway. The DC Gateway is a virtual portal that is deployed to manage connectivity between the customer’s site to more than 300+ major public clouds, including AWS, IBM, Alibaba, Google Cloud, and many more. DC Gateway is powered by API, SDN, and math logic technology to provide fast provisioning and simplified management.
