Ying Tong Announced the Strategic Investment in DCConnect Global Ltd. and DCConnect China Ltd.

• Ying Tong (YT) acquires equal status as 3C (CT, CU, CM) to be the legal provider to offer national network to access Data Centers and Clouds in China
• The strategic investment in DCConnect Global (DCCG) and China (DCCC) authorizes DCCG to be the exclusive official overseas representative to offer the licensed services under Ying Tong in China and DCC (DCCC and DCCG) services globally
• The equity investment realizes the synergy between companies for better network resources utilization, service level, license and product coverage:
  • DCC will be the exclusive provider in network provisioning and offerings for layer 2 and 3 services under YT’s license in China.
  • The investment would enable higher quality network service to customers included but not limited to the state-of-the-art software defined network (SDN) technology developed by DCC connected to Clouds, Data Centers and Offices in China, Hong Kong and internationally via partners.

Hong Kong — October 31, 2018 — Beijing Ying Tong Ltd.北京应通 (YT), the licensed providers for national network in China on top of 3C (China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile Tier 1 full license telecom providers in China), first invested RMB 7.8 Billion (~USD 1.15B) to acquire 49% CITIC Network Telecom Co. Ltd. 中信网络有限公司 back in February 2018 and further acquired Nan Xin 缆信 another large national network provider in the same month. YT announce today their strategic investment in DCConnect China Ltd. and DCCconnect Global Ltd. (Collectively named as DCC). DCCC has implemented China’s first neutral SDN-based fully meshed architecture network and have successfully developed the first of the kind for two-way inter-carrier SDN network orchestration through API integration.  A software platform portal has been designed to overlay the SDN network and provides customers with the ability to access On-Demand bandwidth connectivity to the Global Cloud Providers via our API (AWS, Alibaba, Tencent, Microsoft Azure etc.) and most of the Data Centers in China.

DCC enable services and users to connect over an elastic, agile, scalable SDN-based, ubiquitous Ethernet fabric allowing our customers wider coverage, speed to market while reducing costs and enabling rapid provisioning across one platform. Currently, DCCC has over 100 PoPs strategically located to provide coverage to all the major cities within China and further POP will be added in 2019 subject to customer demand.
